  1. The following summarizes the fixes made to the FileMaker Pro 3.0v4 program:

  3. • Fixed memory leaks that occurred while using Apple events in the following scenarios:
  4.     - While doing a whose based on record IDs
  5.     - While counting objects using FileMaker Pro's default containment
  6.     - When performing a comparison on an object property
  7.     - When getting picture data out of a database
  8.     
  9. • Changed the selection of the current record when unsorting a database. Rather than changing the current record to the first record in the found set, you are left in the current record after unsorting.

  11. • Corrected the 60-character field name limitation when exporting related fields.
  12.  
  13. • Fixed a problem with the size palette which prevented the accurate sizing of a newly created line using pixel units.
  14.  
  15. • Fixed a problem that caused FileMaker Pro to quit while attempting to set a database to multi-user on a computer using Windows NT with the SAP service running.

  17. • Changed the behavior of FileMaker Pro when a guest's network connection is interrupted. Now, the guest will not be forced to quit FileMaker Pro.

  19. • Corrected a problem that resulted in data not printing correctly at page breaks under Windows 95.

  21. • Fixed a problem that allowed related records in a portal to be deleted using the delete key even if the option to disallow such deletion was enabled.

  23. • Corrected a problem in the ClarisWorks translator that would cause infrequent crashes while importing a ClarisWorks database.

  25. • Fixed a problem that skipped the Set Error Capture script step if it was the first step in a startup script in a file that was either drop-launched or opened by double-clicking.

  27. • Corrected the sliding of a calculation field having a result of ("").

  29. • Fixed a problem that caused incorrect data to be returned when getting data from a formatted date field via Apple events and could cause the application to quit on the PC when copying a record with a formatted date field.
